ZAMIR and INEX Unites
Zamir Recognition Systems, a worldwide supplier of
Automatic License Plate Recognition (ALPR) hardware and software, and INEX
Technologies, a provider of ALPR technology to a broad range of markets, announces
the unification of the two companies. The new entity will be known as
INEX/ZAMIR and will continue to operate from headquarters in both Israel
and the United States.

Zamir launches
multi-national OCR engine
After years of experience in various world markets
(USA, Australia, Europe and parts of Asia), Zamir has gathered an excellent
experience with variety of license plates: reflective, non-reflective,
Latin, Arabic, in different colors etc.
The smart OCR engine Zamir has is able to recognize the
most difficult plates in the world, and easier ones like all European
plates.
Zamir is one of the world's most known and veteran
vendors for LPR technology and will be happy to accommodate any LPR/ALPR
needs.

Zamir continues to
provide its LPR systems to Tollroad projects
Through Zamir's US Company, INEX Technologies, Zamir
delivers its innovative LPR systems to tollroad integrators. In the two
recent projects,, in Illinois and Florida, INEX/ZAMIR work with ETC Corp.
and VESystems. This recent projects adds to the large project Zamir has
done with Transtoll in Sydney, Australia.

Zamir's InSignia 4 LPR
system Integrated with under-vehicle scanning system (SecuScan)
Zamir's distributor in Spain, SIMEC, has installed Zamir LPR system with
special integration to Under-Vehicle scanning system, called SecuScan
(SignalBau Huber). System is installed at a secured government facility
near Madrid.

Zamir
delivered Cross Israel Highway Transportable LPR systems
Zamir Recognition Systems
Ltd. delivered to Cross Israel Highway its new Transportable LPR system
(MBL4).
The system uses
Zamir’s proprietary Virtual Vehicle Detector in order to detect,
capture and recognize certain vehicles on the first toll road highway in
Israel (Kvish 6).
MBL4 can be used in cases where a fixed installation
is not possible and recognition vehicle moving in very high speeds is
required.
MBL4 has 2 main H/W components: the Imaging Unit
installed on the roof of the vehicle on a pan-tilt detachable mounting
device and the special processing unit located in a robust suitcase.
