Zamir Recognition Systems Ltd. is an industry leader in License Plate Recognition (LPR) technology. Zamir develops and markets InSignia, a license plate recognition system that allows the automatic identification, in real-time, of a vehicle by means of its license plate.

InSignia uses advanced electro-optical technology, yielding fast reliable and near perfect rates of recognition. InSignia functions equally well under varying vehicular speed, weather and illumination conditions.

License Plate Recognition is used in a variety of commercial and private applications. Typical applications include access control, revenue control, security control, theft control, toll roads, border control and traffic enforcement.
